Bits and Pieces

on Obama, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Howard Dean:

Remember after getting elected to the senate, Obama soon found the job boring -- so to escape that tedious work in the senate, he ran for president; now he's elected president, and already can't wait to get out of the white house.  hmmmm

Hey, guess what!  Ann Kornblut at WP noticed this too!
Someone asked PS Gibbs about it, and Gibbs replied Obama has a "restless soul".  oh great, just what we need in a president.

 .......................

Ha! guess withdrawing from Iraq may take a little longer; I still remember when he voted for FISA and broke his pledge on public campaign financing, the progressives all said, well the most important thing is he will withdraw all troops from Iraq as soon as he takes office.....

and at same time re-thinking the Afghanistan surge! a "triple back flip":

hmmm....isn't this  what Bush was saying about both Iraq and Afghanistan?
...................................................................

and lastly:    Eleanor Clift clues us in on why the Obama people don't like Howard Dean:

"The Obama team wasn't a fan of Dean's either during the '08 presidential campaign, faulting him for letting the controversy over Florida and Michigan drag on way too long. You would think that Dean would have been vindicated by now, but that's not how Washington works."

So this is why Obama doesn't like Dean!  It wasn't enough that Dean threw the primary nomination to Obama, he just didn't do that fast enough.  (GMAFB.)

did you see the Obot reader's reactions to Kornblut's article? Here are two of them:

I posted to this thread earlier today, but I forgot to inform Ms. Kornblut what I personally intend to do about authors of articles such as this from here on in.

I blog, and I will write a piece every time I see an article like this.
If others commenting here are bloggers, you should consider doing the same.

We defeated Sarah Palin, we can defeat the right-wing media as well.

As Bob Cesca said, they have ZERO credibility.

This president deserves our full support.

Why won't the media fall in step with our new ELECTED President of all the people the way they did for the previous one who relied more on the Supreme Court for his title than the voters?
I am about to cancel every subscription I have. Let's see if the massive layoffs in the media wake them up.

Are these people kidding me? The media is the reason Obama is in office.

for posting those obot comments.  Guess they speak for themselves!  I wonder how Ann Kornblut reacted to their threats!!!

Every little bit of info helps. You just knew he wasn't going to keep any of his promises. All he knows how to do is get elected but he doesn't know how to govern or keep a promise or stand up for a principle. He sure knows how to lie.

BJ, thanks for the obot comments you posted. Sheesh! What creeps!

Quit bad-mouthing creeps!

WHERETHEHELL IS MY ERA???

Obamas at Kennedy Center

a picture worth a thousand words.  He's having fun playing up the presidential perks -- which in normal economic times, everyone would enjoy the first AA doing stuff like this.  In these times, it just shows off his elitist side.

You can leave it to CNN to report these hard hitting stories.

His is titled "Mistresses of the Universe".
