Too Little, Too Late!
Some of you may have seen articles floating around the net regarding C-Span 2’s post election Presidential Election Analysis Panel by the Smithsonian Associates.
Check out the following u-tube video at the 3:45 mark. Interesting commentary by our dear leader, Howard Dean. I, frankly, remember this Howard once upon a time - but do not recognize him in this video as our DNC Chairman during the Primaries and General Election.

Now - please tell me; where was this Howard during the Primaries? Why was he silent? I cannot think of ANY reason that he could not have spoken out at any time and still been "the referee" as he likes to call himself. He could have stepped-up to the plate for the fair treatment of women at any time.
Too little, too late.

Howard Dean is trying to revamp his image and legacy. Sorry, but his bias during the primaries was evident, and his silence about sexism in the MSM and in the Obama campaign spoke volumes.
What a jerk! A little too late, Howie!
Totally agree - And I wanted Howard for President in 2004. Now I can't imagine why. Disappointed and disgusted with him for sure!
Does he really think his sudden discovery of misogyny will be well received?
Because if he is speaking to the female Obots they didn't see it or care about it anyway. They must like it since they voted for it. The patriarchy has them firmly in control.
And if he's talking to PUMA types nothing he says is acceptable at this late date. So what's with his discovery of misogyny now?
Too little, too late indeed. Go away Howard. You or anyone in the Obama camp speaking out against misogyny now is adding insult to injury.
A Dishonest/Biased Media Is A Crime Against Democracy!
Right on, kenoshaMarge! Great comment. I agree; nothing Howard says carries any weight with me. And IMHO the female Obots STILL aren't willing to "see it". You're right - they "voted for it".
Yeah Obama won, but perhaps the DNC does see the cost. Obama's success can not be duplicated by anyone other than another AA Messiah of epic proportions.
The DNC may know when the study the numbers that they are in trouble. W/o 99% of the AA vote and low RNC participation, there is no victory. The is a chance that Dean created a monster and then was rolled by it. He certianly does not seem to by trying to get himself a job in the adminstration.
I know I, myself, had been contributing $ to the Democratic Party every year GWBush has been in office. In 2006, when we took over Congress, I was ecstatic. When impeachment was "off the table" and I saw they had no intention of keeping their promise to end the war, I stopped donating. So, even in this Presidential election year, I only donated to Hillary. The DNC will not get a cent from me.
I think Dean wanted to continue as DNC Chair; when Obama nixed it, then Dean decided to get even. That, and only that, is the reason Dean's finally speaking out against sexism and misogyny now.
I also think that Dean forgot two old adages: "When you lie down with dogs, you're gonna get fleas," and the most important one of all: "When you make a deal with the devil, expect to get burned."
Really, Dean still has a few options, but they're last-ditch things -- including allying with the Clintons. I wonder if he'll work around to that, before things are all said and done.
There's no excuse for this, DNC. You screwed the pooch; time to pay the piper.
Howie's bummed he didn't get a cabinet position in BO administration (didn't he want HHS?)-- so he's having second thoughts about his role in putting BO in power. I wonder if he'll start speaking out next about caucus fraud and denying Democratic voters their votes.
Sharyn, I hope he does. Let's get this all out on the table now. Because I really want no one else coming to power in this way -- I want no one else who claims to be a Democrat embracing "any means to this end" strategies, "get on the bandwagon psychology" or any of the other nonsensical things we've seen Obama and his campaign staff do in the past two years.
There's no excuse for this, DNC. You screwed the pooch; time to pay the piper.
Where was that voice when it was happening. And I say, just like he acknowledge the same sexists attacks were related to Gov Palin, he stayed silent because she was opposition. He clearly pointed out how much discussion there was about race, constant analyzing in that area, but no mention of sexism. He was part of that.
He sure upset me further when he played the race card because he was insturcted by Camp Obama to do so in the GE as well.
